Prime Day 2019: Snag DVD box sets of classic shows like 'Walker, Texas Ranger' and 'The Doris Day Show'

Sorry, Netflix and Hulu: Box sets of DVDs are still pretty darn popular.

A number of fan-favorite shows that aren't readily available on streaming sites are selling at a discount price for Amazon Prime Day, including classic 20th century shows like "Sanford and Son" and "Hawaii Five-O" and more recent hits like "Parks and Recreation," which started selling out fast on Monday at a nearly 50% discount. (By 9 AM, nearly 80% of available "Parks and Rec" collections were already claimed.)

Each of the sales go live at different times of the day: A collection of classic monster movies goes live at 10:24 AM; "Hawaii Five-O: launches at at 2:04 PM; "The Doris Day Show" becomes available at 4:09 PM. The discounts vary by item, but so far, most have been well over 30% off, with some as much as 70% off.
