Prime Video confirms 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' Season 3

Prime Video recently announced that Season 3 of “The Summer I Turned Pretty” has been greenlit.

Key details: On Thursday, Prime Video uploaded its announcement video of the new season on social media platforms such as YouTube.

The 57-second clip features scenes from Season 2 of the hit show, as well as the words "See you in Cousins Beach for Season 3."

"Season 3 was greenlit ahead of the strikes and production will not begin until after negotiations are resolved," Prime Video wrote. The streaming platform, however, did not hint at a specific release date.

About the show: Season 1 of “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” which was created by author Jenny Han (“To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before“) for Prime Video, was released last summer. The show is an onscreen adaptation of Han's novel trilogy of the same name.

Season 2 premiered on July 14 and follows Korean American teenager Isabel “Belly” Conklin (Lola Tung) as she continues to struggle in a love triangle with brothers Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno).

"The Summer I Turned Pretty's" directors include Jesse Peretz, Jeff Chan and Erica Dunton. Peretz, Han, Hope Hartman, Mads Hansen, Nne Ebong, Karen Rosenfelt and Gabrielle Stanton serve as its executive producers, while Marty Scott, Deborah Swisher, Jenny Zhang and Nicole Colombie serve as its producers.
