PRINCE GEORGE — ASD Home and Gifts, formerly known as Absolutely Southern Designs, is celebrating a business expansion. The community is invited to an open house to tour the new space, enjoy refreshments, take selfies in a photo prop area, and enter to win door prizes.

"After five years in our previous location, we are pleased to announce that we have relocated to two new suites next door," Samantha Previs, ASD Home and Gifts [ASD] owner, said. "Taking over the suites formerly occupied by Prince George Electric Coop and the New York Life Insurance companies has allowed us to nearly double the retail square footage."

Previs is also excited about how the additional space offers a photo studio/live production area, classroom and expanded operating back office.

The store expansion provides space for small businesses to display handmade and crafted items. In addition to the brands ASD carries, shoppers will be able to browse wares from Teething Around, Dragonfly Door Décor, Ginger Ridge Designs, Rustic Luxe, Off the Schane, Things From Home, Opals & Sunshine, RL Designs, Davis DeSigns and Cassidy’s Custom Creations.

Simply Southern tees and accessories, Nora Fleming home goods, Inis perfume, and Duke Cannon men’s products will still be available at ASD as well as items from the Stonewall Kitchen collection.

"The store will be bringing an expanded selection of women’s boutique clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry, bath and body care, gourmet food and home décor items," Previs said. "We will continue to offer our amazing monogrammed designs, and we're always adding new designs to the collection."

Previs credits the ability to expand to the incredible support from the local community.

"Since opening our doors six years ago, ASD has become a go-to spot for anyone looking for high-quality clothing, gifts and home decor at affordable prices," Previs said. "Shoppers know they can find what they're looking for at ASD where 'handmade meets brand name' whether it's a birthday present, holiday gift or just a treat for themselves."
