Prince George and Princess Charlotte are clearly enjoying their summer break from school. Over the weekend, the young royals were spotted having a lovely time at a local festival with their grandparents Carole and Michael Middleton.
While the Duchess of Cambridge attended the women's finals match at Wimbledon on Saturday, alongside her sister Pippa and the Duchess of Sussex, Kate's two older children were reportedly at the Englefield Summer Fete in Berkshire, near the Middleton family home.
For those unfamiliar—I certainly was—a crockery smash is where you throw balls at dishware like plates, cups, etc. to try and break them. The annual festival also features tractor rides, inflatable slides, live music, food, and other traditional carnival-like games.
"They were so cute, and Charlotte particularly was very friendly, politely saying hello to other children. George was running around, exactly like all the other children," the source said.
While no photos have been released of this special day out with Granny, George and Charlotte were spotted earlier this week at a charity polo match cheering on Prince William, enjoying snacks in the car, kicking around a soccer ball, and hanging out with their baby cousin Archie and their younger brother Louis.
Louis reportedly missed out on Sunday's outing, likely because he's still too little for the excitement of a crockery-smashing day. But don't feel bad for the youngest Cambridge kid. Prince Louis just recently received a gift of sneakers from the Stan Smith.
