What Prince George Is Really Like at Six
Prince George is turning six tomorrow and The Sun reportedly has the inside scoop on what the birthday boy has planned for the big day. George has apparently requested an intimate party for family at Anmer Hall in Norfolk, where he’s spending a majority of his summer break. According to the tabloid, there’s also been a discussion of having a get together with his school friends in London, but like most kids during the summer, it’s been difficult to organize a time to fit everyone’s schedule.
“George likes people,” a source said. “Whether he has learned this from his father or it simply comes naturally, he first likes to be sure that he can trust them. Growing up surrounded by courtiers, you learn fast that not everybody has your best interests at heart.”
The soon-to-be six-year-old has apparently already developed a strong-willed personality.
“While the outside world sees him as an infant, George is very much his own man,” the source, who has reportedly spent time with the child growing up, added. “With younger siblings Charlotte and Louis taking a lot of the attention at home, George is learning to be more independent. Yes, he has been protected from some of the realities about being third in line to the throne, but it is almost as if he is hard-wired to feel a sense of responsibility.”
While he may be royalty, George still appears to be like most children his age. He loves playing outside with his friends and eating pizza (royals, they’re just like us!).
“Considering the huge wealth and privilege at his disposal, some people might be surprised to hear that George’s favorite things are spending time with his mum, cooking pizzas from scratch and pottering about in the garden,” the source said. “The Prince of Wales, his grandad, has been particularly delighted to see how George has taken to nature and the great outdoors.”
