Prince George's sixth birthday: Royal family share 3 cute photos

Prince George celebrated his sixth birthday over the weekend, and the royal family shared three adorable photos on Instagram to mark the occasion.

Posted on the official Instagram account of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, two of the triptych show George playing in the grass wearing an England football shirt, while the other one shows him looking happy on holiday.

The @KensingtonRoyal captions read, "🎈⚽️ Happy Birthday Prince George! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share new photographs of Prince George to mark His Royal Highness's sixth birthday. This photograph was taken recently in the garden of their home at Kensington Palace by The Duchess of Cambridge. Thank you everyone for all your lovely messages!"

Unsurprisingly, the comments were flooded with fans cooing over how cute George looks. "Adorable young lad," one person wrote, while another added, "Look at that adorable smile 🤗"

The official England football account also wrote, "Happy birthday, Prince George! Great choice of shirt 😀🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿", while @SussexRoyal - aka Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's official Instagram account - wrote, "Happy Birthday 🎂🎈! Wishing you a very special day and lots of love!"

The three new photos come as The Sun report Prince William and Kate are spending their summer holiday (which coincides with George's big day) on the Caribbean island of Mustique.

Apparently, the island is the family's favourite holiday destination, thanks to the no-fly zone over the island, which means they aren't disturbed with any unwanted paparazzi attention. In fact, it's also where Prince George celebrated his fifth birthday.
