  • James Corden recently ended his run on The Late Late Show, and the show has been posting behind-the-scenes clips on its YouTube channel.

  • The most recent clip reveals that Prince Harry paid a visit to the crew during Corden's final taping.

  • The two are reportedly friends, with Corden helping Harry adjust to life in Los Angeles.

James Corden's run as host of The Late Late Show ended last month, featuring a fair number of memorable moments across its 1,000-plus episode run. One of the standout segments the show produced was in the wake of the COVID-19 lockdown—a challenging time for every late-night show—when Corden took an open-top bus ride around Los Angeles with Prince Harry, who had recently moved to the city with wife Meghan Markle but had yet to take in the sights due to COVID protocols.

The segment featured the duo visiting the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air house and running a military-style obstacle course, and the pair seemed to have an ease beyond the usual talk show banter. As it turns out, that's because Corden and the famed royal have a genuine friendship that has endured through the years, and Corden helping Harry to navigate life in L.A. when the cameras stopped rolling.

Well, as the latest "behind the scenes" video posted by the show shows, when it was time for the cameras to stop rolling on Corden's late-night program, Harry wanted to make sure he was there to see his friend off:

While those who watched what was happening on set saw one famous U.K. ex-pat named Harry—that being Grammy-winning music artist Harry Styles—a different famous ex-pat named Harry was apparently helping out behind the scenes.

In the video, Prince Harry can be seen stopping by the production studio to watch the filming in progress. The Spare author even offered to lend a hand, bringing a drink to Ben Winston, Corden's executive producer.

So while James Corden may no longer be hosting his TV show, he walks away with many memories that will last a lifetime—and perhaps his friendship with Prince Harry will endure just as long.
