Prince Harry Gave a ‘Real Housewives’ Star the Best Kiss of Her Life, Then Ghosted by Changing His Number, Apparently

Just when it felt like we knew everything there was to know about the royal family, a 51-year-old reality star comes along to put us in our place with a story about her whirlwind mini-fling with Prince Harry.
The reality star in question is Real Housewives of D.C. star Catherine Ommanney, who says she and Harry had a brief (very brief) ~thing~ back in May 2006 (she was 34 and he was 21 at the time).
Catherine told The Sun about her short-lived royal romance, which, according to the paper, involved drinking with Harry at Art Bar in London’s Chelsea and Eclipse nightclub in South Kensington before the pair kept the night going at one of Harry’s friend’s places in Chelsea. She does not, for the record, think he will cover the fling in his upcoming memoir, Spare.
“I doubt I will be in Harry’s book as a prince can’t run off with a 34-year-old mother of two, it’s just not the done thing,” she prefaced the tale, which involves a bacon sandwich, the “most passionate” kiss, and a strong contender for cringiest ghost story of the year. Here’s how their first glorious night went, according to Catherine:
“We went upstairs to the bathroom and started mucking about like teenagers, singing into toothbrushes like they were microphones. We got into the bath with our clothes on and one of our friends took a photo on my phone. Harry and I went to the kitchen and he made a great bacon sandwich.
“We sat in the kitchen chatting for ages and we both had the giggles. We started play-fighting and I think we were wrestling on and off for about 15 minutes when I told him I needed to go home. It was then that he lifted me by my waist off the floor and held me against the wall. He gave me the most incredible, passionate kiss I have ever had in my life. I was absolutely speechless.”

“We continued texting and I saw him again about a week later at a bar in Kensington,” she added. “We had another kiss and Harry was very complimentary, telling me how beautiful I was. We met a few more times, always in private bars.”
Alas, in spite of the “most incredible, passionate kiss” ever, the romance does not have a fairy-tale ending. According to Catherine, after two more dates, Harry changed his number and the connection was over. Oof. Such oof.
