The Manhattan cabbie who came to the rescue of Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle during a dangerous paparazzi chase described his wild ride with the royals as all in a day’s work.

“They were quite nice,” driver Sukhcharn Singh told the Daily News on Wednesday. “They asked me my name and I only gave them my nickname ‘Sonny,’ since my real name is hard.”

The 37-year-old Singh recounted driving along 67th St. between Lexington and Third Aves. on Tuesday night when a man in a suit flagged him down.

Within seconds, Harry, his wife and his mother-in-law were in the cab and ready to roll, with one of the prince’s security people riding shotgun upfront.

“They were nervous,” he said of his high-profile fares. “They were being chased the entire day. They were just about to tell me the location of where they wanted me to go, but then all these paparazzi came out of nowhere — so they told me to drive!”

Singh, a cab driver for the past four years, said he circled the block before pulling over and then eventually dropping the royals at the 19th Precinct stationhouse.

He later received a call from Taxi & Limousine Commissioner David Do for his efforts.

“New York City yellow cab drivers are as safe as they are legendary,” said Do in a statement. “This is no exception.”

But Singh brushed aside all the attention and was back behind the wheel only hours later.

“I wasn’t shocked,” he said of the royal riders. “I’ve had Keith Richards in my cab before. Driving around Manhattan, you pick up a lot of celebrities.”
