Prince Harry Just Admitted on Camera That the Royal Feud with Prince William Is a Thing

From Oprah Magazine

Remember when the internet couldn't even go five minutes without someone bringing up ~the royal feud~? First, "sources" were convinced the seemingly imaginary feud in question was between Duchess Kate Middleton and Duchess Meghan Markle, but soon everyone changed their tune and decided said feud was actually between Prince William and Prince Harry. And Harry just spoke out about it for the first time, confirming that he and William's relationship isn't the same as it used to be.

“Part of this role and part of this job, and this family, being under the pressure that it’s under, inevitably, you know, stuff happens,” he said in ITV documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey. “But look, we’re brothers, we’ll always be brothers. And we’re certainly on different paths at the moment but I’ll always be there for him and as I know he’ll always be there for me.”

Harry also seemed to admit that he and William aren't quite as close as they used to be, saying, “We don’t see each other as much as we used to because we’re so busy, but you know, I love him dearly. The majority of this stuff [in the press] is created out of nothing, but you know, as brothers, you know, you have good days, you have bad days.”

Speaking of bad days, last year Vanity Fair's royal reporter Katie Nicholl spoke to a source who said Harry and William had a falling out over Christmas 2017, when Harry told his older brother that he wasn't doing enough to include Meghan in the royal family.

"Harry felt William wasn’t rolling out the red carpet for Meghan and told him so," the source said. "They had a bit of a fall out which was only resolved when Charles stepped in and asked William to make an effort. That’s when the Cambridges invited the Sussexes to spend Christmas with them."

Harry obviously didn't speak on that report specifically, but ya know. Helpful to keep in mind, ahem.
