Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Looked Pretty Happy on Valentine's Day

All seems to be quiet on the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle front since the two announced that they've stepped back from their roles as senior members of the royal family. After the initial maelstrom, the two have kept quiet and Daily Mail published the first photos of the couple since the news broke and the shows Harry and Markle looking happy and smiling as they arrive in Canada with Archie in tow.

While the snaps were taken on Valentine's Day, they're not the posed glamour shots that have come from the royal family in the past. Both Harry and Meghan were dressed casually, with Harry in a baseball cap and Meghan in a striped button-up shirt. According to the Daily Mail, they landed at Victoria airport and were accompanied by security. The pair took a commercial flight, which is in keeping with their commitment to lowering their carbon footprint and keeping the environment in mind when they travel.

Though this is the first time they've been photographed, the two have been making public appearances. Earlier this month, Harry and Meghan attended an event for J.P. Morgan in Miami, Florida, and had a double date with Jennifer Lopez and her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez. Harry and Meghan also had a speaking engagement at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. No official photos were released for those engagements.

A source close to the couple confirms that they're staying out of the spotlight in Canada. It seems to be exactly what they were looking for and, the source adds, they're loving it.

"They are enjoying living a quiet life," the source told People. "They go for long walks, they do yoga, and Meghan cooks. They are real homebodies who love to chill out with Archie and the dogs."
