Prince Harry, who just became a new dad for the second time with the arrival of baby Lili, will return to the UK next month for the unveiling of a statue honouring Princess Diana, Kensington Palace has confirmed.

The statue of the late Princess will be installed in the Sunken Garden of London's Kensington Palace on 1 July, marking what would have been Diana's 60th birthday.

Kensington Palace has previously said of the poignant installation: "The Princes hope that the statue will help all those who visit Kensington Palace to reflect on their mother's life and her legacy."

Back in 2017, it was announced that William and Harry had chosen renowned sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley as the artist responsible for making the statue of their mother. Rank-Broadley is known for creating the likenesses of the Queen and other royals used on coins.

Previous reports suggested Harry might have missed the unveiling of the statue if Meghan Markle was still awaiting the birth of their second child. As it stands, though, Harry will make the trip just under a month after the arrival of the couple's daughter, Lilibet 'Lili' Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

The little girl's name is a tribute to her late grandmother, Diana, as well as her great-grandmother, the Queen, whose childhood nickname was Lilibet.

The Queen and Harry will have lots to catch up about the next time they meet, from him naming his child after her to his new life as a dad of two, and it seems that reunion could be happening soon.

According to the Daily Mail, the Queen has reportedly invited Harry for lunch at Windsor Castle while he's in the UK in July.

Meghan is expected to stay in the Sussex family home in Montecito, California with two-year-old Archie and newborn Lili. As well as being mum to a toddler and a brand new baby, Meghan is busy at the minute with the release of her first children's book.

The story, called The Bench, is about the bond between a dad and his child, seen through the eyes of a mother and features sweet nods to Meghan and Harry's family life.

It's definitely all go for the Sussexes at the minute, and we're sure Harry's meaningful trip to honour his late mother's life and legacy will be a special one for him.
