Good news for fans of the Wales children (Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis), as it sounds like the three adorable royals may be making a public appearance in the very near future – an idea that some have suggested could be part of plans to get them prepped for their grandfather King Charles III's upcoming coronation.

The big coronation is due to take place 6 May and just as an FYI, here's all the other details we know about that so far.

The Wales kids haven't been seen all together in public since Christmas Day, which was the first time little Louis was deemed old enough to join the family for the their annual festive church service outing, which often draws a crowd of well-wishers. However, it's now being reported that all three children will be joining their parents on 9 April when they attend a church service for Easter Sunday at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle – something we've never seen Louis at before.

We did, though, see Louis out in full force at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations last June, where he very much stole the show (so here's hoping for more of that tbh):

Last year, Prince George and Princess Charlotte accompanied their parents for the springtime service, however Prince Louis remained at home. The youngest of the three Wales children is now five though, so it's likely he'll join his older siblings and be given another chance to get used to being in front of crowds before his grandfather's big day in May.

It's all part of what appears to be a very smart move on behalf of the Prince and Princess of Wales, to slowly introduce their three children to a life of public service but keeping the majority of their childhood private.

Speaking around the time that Prince William and Kate Middleton took George out to watch the Euros in June 2021, royal editor for the Sunday Times, Roya Nikkhah, remarked that it was a 'clever' approach.

"It was a very clever way of introducing him to public duties at such a young age because this is an official duty for Prince George at the age of seven," she said. "It's lovely and happy and there's a lot of emotion. Getting him used to big crowds and knowing that he is being watched by millions of people - it's quite a clever way of doing it."

Roll on Easter Sunday!
