Prince Louis takes first public steps in new photos taken at Chelsea Flower Show
Prince Louis was photographed taking his first public steps while visiting the Duchess of Cambridge's garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show on Sunday.
Taken by photographer Matt Porteous, the pictures were shared on Kensington Palace's Twitter and Instagram accounts.
In one of the pictures, the one-year-old runs along a wooden bank while his father, the Duke of Cambridge, watches on attentively.
In another photograph, the toddler appears slightly nervous as he sits on a swing while being held by the duke.
Prince Louis attended the flower show with his two older siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The three children were introduced to the Back to Nature Garden which was designed by their mother, in collaboration with landscape architects Andrée Davies and Adam White and the Royal Horticultural Society.
All three Cambridge children played a role in the creation of the garden, Kensington Palace revealed over the weekend.
“Over the past months, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have helped the Duchess gather moss, leaves and twigs to help decorate the #RHSChelsea Back to Nature Garden,” the palace tweeted.
“Hazel sticks collected by the family were also used to make the garden’s den.
Last month, Kensington Palace released three new photographs of Prince Louis to mark his first birthday.
The pictures were taken by the Duchess of Cambridge at their family home in Norfolk.
Earlier this month, the Cambridge children’s first cousin, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, was born to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The recent release of the royal baby’s birth certificate revealed he was born at the private Portland Hospital in Westminster.
