From Town & Country

It's difficult to describe any member of the British royal family as normal. Queen Elizabeth and her royal relatives live a charmed life filled with palaces, parades, and tiaras. But a new story about Prince George's school makes his parents, Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, seem so very ordinary.

George is currently enrolled at Thomas’s Battersea, a tony elementary school in London. Once the little prince is dropped off for class, for the most part, he's just like any other student-and his parents are just like any other parents. In fact, after dropping George off at school, Prince William has been known to head to a workout with some of the moms at school.

A fellow school parent revealed the detail while opening up to Vanity Fair about George's life at Thomas’s Battersea."George is really happy at school," the parent told the publication. "Either William or Kate do drop off, and they are always very friendly. William particularly loves to have a chat with some of the other parents and he works out with some of the mums at the Harbour Club after drop off. He’s very chatty and amiable."

For those not tapped into London's luxury workout scene, the Harbour Club is a group of private gyms with three locations across the city-in Kensington, Chelsea, and Notting Hill. The Harbour Club also has a kids club that offers dance, karate, and yoga classes for little members. And now we know about the gym's greatest feature of all: the chance to work out alongside Prince William himself.

William was memorably on hand for George's very first day at Thomas's Battersea back in September 2017, which Kate (who was pregnant with Prince Louis at the time) had to miss as she recovered from hyperemesis gravidarum. Will and George even made time to snap an official portrait to mark the occasion before heading to school, taken by royal photographer Chris Jackson. See the sweet snap above.
