Princess Beatrice’s husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has paid tribute to her in a gushing post to mark their three year wedding anniversary.

The pair wed on July 17, 2020 in a secret ceremony in Windsor, surrounded by a just a handful of guests, including the late Queen and Prince Philip amid Covid-19 restrictions.

And on Monday, exactly three years later, Mr Mozzi took to instagram to share previously unseen snaps from their special day, including one of his wife’s hand showing off her wedding ring and another of her bouquet.

He also posted more recent snaps of his wife including one of her at Royal Ascot last month.

“Happy wedding anniversary to the most beautiful wife in the world,” he wrote alongside the images. “I am so grateful for every moment we have shared, every challenge we have overcome, and every dream we have pursued together.

“I love you more than words can say, and I can’t wait to celebrate many more anniversaries with you.”

At the wedding, the princess wore a pretty ivory dress previously worn by her grandmother, the late Queen, and a tiara Elizabeth wore on her own wedding day. The headpiece, called the Queen Mary Fringe, consists of diamonds given to Queen Mary by Queen Victoria.

The Peau De Soie taffeta dress she donned, was made around 60 years ago by designer Norman Hartnell and worn by Queen Elizabeth to the 1962 Lawrence of Arabia film premiere in London’s Leicester Square and in 1966 when the monarch wore it to the State Opening of Parliament.

Princess Beatrice and her property developer husband now have a daughter Sienna, who is two in September. Mr Mozzi, who was born into a wealthy family, has a son called Christopher Woolf, known as “Wolfie”, from a previous relationship.

Princess Beatrice began her relationship with Mr Mozzi in 2018.

The pair had known each other since childhood as his parents had been longtime friends with her mother and father, Prince Andrew, and Sarah, Duchess of York.

His father is Alessandro Mapelli-Mozzi, a British Olympian and member of an Italian noble family. His mother Nicola Williams-Ellis MBE, is the granddaughter of politician Sir Robert Abraham Burrows.
