Yesterday, news dropped that Princess Beatrice welcomed her first child with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on September 18, which, yay! Obviously, Bea and Edo’s daughter is a member of the royal family, which means she’ll now be listed in the royal line of succession and could technically one day inherit the throne. Like, if everyone in front of her abdicates, which seems unlikely, but you never know.

So, where is Bea’s bb? She is now 11th in line to the throne, with the following family members coming ahead of her: Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, Prince Harry, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor, Prince Andrew, and Princess Beatrice herself. Meanwhile, Beatrice’s younger sister, Princess Eugenie, is in line directly after her new niece.

In case you missed it, the official royal Twitter account announced news of Princess Beatrice giving birth, writing, “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter on Saturday 18th September 2021, at 23.42, at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London.”

They also shared a press release with more details, saying that “the baby weighs 6 pounds and 2 ounces” and revealing that “the new baby’s grandparents and great-grandparents have all been informed and are delighted with the news. The family would like to thank all the staff at the hospital for their wonderful care. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well, and the couple are looking forward to introducing their daughter to her big brother, Christopher Woolf.”

Princess Eugenie has since sent a message of congratulations to Bea, writing on Instagram, “To my dearest Beabea and Edo⁣, congratulations on your new angel. I can’t wait to meet her and I’m so proud of you. We’re going to have so much fun watching our children grow up.”
