Princess Charlotte Joins Prince William in Cheering on the Lionesses in Sweet New Video

Tonight, England's Lionesses will face off against Germany in the Women's Euro 2022 finals, and the royal family will be cheering them on.

Earlier this week, Prince William tweeted a message of congratulations at the team when they qualified for the match. "Congratulations @Lionesses on making it to the #WEURO2022 final on Sunday. The entire country is so proud of everything you’re achieving. We believe in you and will be with you all the way!" he posted, signing the tweet "W," which indicates that he wrote the note himself.

And today, the Cambridges shared a sweet video of Prince William and Princess Charlotte cheering the team on.

"We both want to wish the Lionesses the best of luck tonight. You've done amazingly well in the competition, and we're rooting for you all the way," William says in the clip before Princess Charlotte pipes up to say "Good luck I hope you win, Bye!"

Prince William is expected to attend tonight's competition at Wembley, but it's unclear if Charlotte is set to go with him. Earlier this summer, William visited, and revealed that Charlotte is a "budding" footballer, when he visited England women's football team.

"Charlotte wanted me to tell you that she is really good at goal," Prince William said, after receiving a jersey with his daughter's name on it. "She said, 'Please tell them that.' She is a budding star for the future."
