Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank have one of the sweetest, low-key romances in the royal family. Since their wedding in 2018, Jack has become a regular on the royal scene, attending events with Eugenie and the rest of the royal family.
Over the weekend, Jack joined Eugenie and many other members of the royal family for the traditional Easter service at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle, where he and Eugenie were married.

He and Eugenie have a son, and are expecting another child in 2023.
The couple welcomed their son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, on February 9, 2021. According to a statement shared by the royal family at the time, the baby was born at the Portland Hospital, and the proud papa was present for the birth.
Just a few weeks later, Eugenie shared a series of adorable family portraits for their trio, taken by her midwife.
While we got a few more glimpses of baby August, it wasn't until the Queen's Platinum Jubilee weekend in 2022 that the little royal finally made his public debut with his mom and doting dad.
In January 2023, he and Eugenie revealed that they will be welcoming a second child this summer.
They live part-time in Portugal for his job.
In May 2022, it was reported that Jack and Eugenie, along with August, would be splitting their time between the UK and Portugal as part of Jack's new job with Discovery Land Company, a development corporation owned by Mike Meldman. Meldman was previously a partner in the George Clooney-founded Casamigos tequila brand, for which Jack had served as brand ambassador for several years. Since then, no details have been released about their bi-national status.
He was "a little bit nervous" for his royal wedding.
Ahead of their big day in 2018, he told Daily Mail columnist Sebastian Shakespeare, "I’ll need to take a few minutes for myself before the speeches, because I’m terrified. It’s very exciting, but I’m a little bit nervous.”
The couple married in a sweet ceremony at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle on October 14, 2018.
Jack reportedly met Princess Eugenie while in Verbier, Switzerland.
Brooksbank and Eugenie had been dating for seven years when they got engaged. They met while skiing in the Swiss resort town where Eugenie's parents co-own a home, and continued dating long-distance when Eugenie moved to New York City briefly for her career.
"We met when I was 20 and Jack was 24, and fell in love," Eugenie said of her soon-to-be husband in an interview with the BBC. "We have the same passions and drive for life. It's so nice that we get to share this moment with everyone, and you get to meet Jack."
His in-laws seem to like him.
"Jack is an absolutely outstanding young man and Eugenie and he have got to know each other over a number of years, and I’m really thrilled for them," Prince Andrew said following the engagement announcement. "I’m just completely overjoyed for them and wish them every happiness," he continued.
Eugenie's mother, Sarah Ferguson, also shared her enthusiasm for her then-future son-in-law on Twitter. "We love Jack and I am so excited to have a son," she wrote.
She also spoke kindly about him in a interview with the BBC. “Jack is a really sort of amazing bringer of light and he brings joy," she said. "I say to Jack, ‘Always just stay yourself,’ and I’d say that to anybody, just be yourself. What else can you do in life?”
Brooksbank is the son of an accountant.
In 2018, two commoners joined the royal family, Meghan Markle and Mr. Brooksbank. Brooksbank's parents are Nicola and George, an accountant and a company director, per People. He also has one brother named Thomas.
His family also has aristocratic connections.
Jack is descended from the Brooksbank baronets, according to the Telegraph. A baronet is a title just below baron. In fact, he and Eugenie are actually distant cousins, much like Eugenie's grandmother Queen Elizabeth II and her late husband, Prince Philip.
He eschewed university, and went straight into the hospitality field.
Growing up, Brooksbank's parents sent him to the private Stowe school in Buckinghamshire, England. He then skipped university, diving into a career in hospitality. At one point he managed the popular London nightclub Mahiki, and was formerly the UK ambassador for George Clooney and Rande Gerber's tequila brand, Casamigos. He and Eugenie even served Casamigos at the wedding.
