Cindy Crawford may have run into literal royalty when Meghan Markle presented at the British Fashion Awards Monday night, but that was actually her second time coming face-to-face with the British monarchy this past weekend.

The supermodel and her husband, Rande Gerber, also went on a double date with newlyweds Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank. Casual.

The four are connected because Brooksbank is an ambassador for Gerber's Casamigos tequila brand (which he co-founded with George Clooney before they sold the company in 2017, fun fact).

Page Six reports that Eugenie spent time in Miami for Art Basel before jetting back to London for a double date at Chiltern Firehouse. Crawford and Gerber were, of course, in town for the British Fashion Awards, where their daughter Kaia Gerber won Model of the Year.

While Eugenie was buddying up to Cindy, her big sis Princess Beatrice also had a fancy weekend with a model friend.

The royal visited New York City for the Berggruen Prize Gala, where she and Karlie Kloss had a girls night while celebrating Berggruen Prize 2018 Laureate Martha C. Nussbaum, who received the $1 million Berggruen Prize for Philosophy & Culture.

It just goes to show that royals + models make a great pairing.
