Princeton Police looking for information about abandoned puppies

UPDATE: Friday, January 26, 2024 | PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) — According to the Princeton Police Department, the person(s) who abandoned the puppies were found, and are being charged appropriately.

The Princeton Police Department also stated that the two puppies are at the Mercer County Animal Shelter, and are up for adoption.


PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) — Members of the Princeton Police Department are looking for information regarding two puppies that were left abandoned in a crate overnight.

Latest bench warrant list released by Bluefield, WV Police Department

According to the Princeton West Virginia Police Department Facebook page, the puppies were left abandoned in a crate in a driveway off of Harrison Street in Princeton sometime overnight between January 24, 2024 and the morning of January 25, 2024.
