Kewanee wrestlers had four pins, but they were not enough to defeat Three Rivers Conference rival Riverdale on Thursday, Jan. 27, in Goods gym.
Riverdale left town with a 48-36 win.
Boilermakers with pins were Will Taylor (138), who rolled Silas Peschang; Alejandro Duarte (182), who stuck Parker Friant; Elliott Nortman (195), who showed Trevor Ingram the ceiling lights, and Nate Lockett , who pinned Iyezaha Hill.
Two Kewanee wrestlers earning six points each for forfeits were Nathaniel Hampton (120) and Hayden Davis (126).
Riverdale picked up four pins: Tharren Jacobs (113), whose opponent was Waylan Lambert; Brock Smith (132), who squared off with Xander Gruszeczka; Colin Altensey (152), who faced Kadin Rednour, and Jake Baustian (285), who took the mat with Kane Lundeen.
Ram Zach Bradley (170) won by technical fall over Jaxson Hicks.
Kewanee forfeited three weight classes.
