Pro-Beijing Demonstrators Unfurl Chinese Flags at Hong Kong Mall
A pro-Beijing crowd flew Chinese flags and sang the anthem of the People’s Republic at Hong Kong’s landmark International Finance Centre on September 12, where they were met with pro-democracy advocates, who sang Glory to Hong Kong in response.
Glory to Hong Kong has become an unofficial anthem for a protest movement that has been ongoing in Hong Kong since a now-shelved extradition bill was first proposed, in April.
