Pro-choice cliches abundant again

All the old clichés of the pro-abortion activists have come to light yet again.

Look no further than to read their signs on the front page of The Monroe News on May 5, 2022, about a recent march in Detroit.

1. “Pro-women-pro-choice.” How about pro-woman-pro-baby-pro-life?

2. “Keep abortion legal.” Abortion will still be legal in some states.

3. “Keep your policies off my body.” But it’s OK when the policies have favored their points of view.

4. “It’s just a clump of cells.” That’s been a saying that has been around for ages. All of us are clumps of cells, but we happened to remain in our mother’s uterus to develop, thanks to our moms’ will and heart.

There are other sayings, but I will stop there. All of this is so painful to me, let alone to the pre-born babies. I have been working to get abortion stopped since before 1973, when it was Supreme Court-bound from the Texas courts.

Norma McCorvey lied saying that she had been raped. Later she recanted her story and became pro-life. She was baptized later in her life. But since that fateful date of Jan. 22, 1973, we have lost over 63 million pre-born babies. Does anyone believe our Dear God is happy with the killing of His creation?

I am asking that you all “stop, turn around, look back, think it over.” Those are the words sung by Jim Seals and Dash Crofts on their 1974 album, “Unborn Child.”
