Pro Football Hall of Fame unveils Super Bowl 57 Lombardi Trophy for 2022 NFL season
CANTON — No NFL player or coach will get their hands on it for about seven months.
But football fans can get a good look at the new Vince Lombardi Trophy, which is on display at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The newest Lombardi Trophy, which will be awarded to the winner of Super Bowl 57 in February 2023 to crown the NFL's 2022 season champion, was unveiled Friday afternoon at the Hall of Fame.
The trophy was placed on display by Hall of Fame head coach Jimmy Johnson and former Cowboys star fullback Daryl Johnston, now the executive vice president of football operations for the United States Football League. Johnson hoisted the trophy as a champion twice as head coach of the Cowboys, while won Johnston won it three times as a player.

The two were in town for the USFL playoffs, which begin Saturday at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, adjacent to the Hall.
