Pictures of what seem to be the all-new 2021 BMW 4-Series Coupe have appeared online, courtesy of the cochespias Instagram account. Dominating the design is an all-new kidney grille with a vertical orientation, stretching the entire height of the front bumper. It certainly is... something.

Why do we think these leaked images are legit? Well, this seems to be the same car BMW teased with a darkened photo last week, matching blue paint and all. The nose shape, headlight design, license plate location, and grille pattern all match up.

As expected, the production 4-Series is an evolution of the Concept 4, a concept car revealed by BMW at the 2019 Frankfurt Auto Show, meant to envision the future of the 4-Series lineup. It seems some of the more muscular aspects of the car's fascia, such as the thin, angry headlights, have been lost in the transformation to production car, though. Of course, the grille is just as bold.

Leaks like this mean an official reveal will happen sometime soon. We'll know more about the car's design and drivetrain offerings then. But until that happens, we'll just have to keep staring at that grille.
