Produce, pet food distribution coming to Willowick church

Oct. 13—Willow Praise Church is holding its next monthly free produce distribution in concurrence with Ohio Paws with Purpose free pet food distribution on Oct. 28 at Willow Praise Church, 32901 Vine St. in Willowick.

Ohio Paws distribution is from 8 to 10 a.m. and the church's distribution runs from 8 to 11 a.m.

The produce distribution typically assists 300 to 400 families with fresh produce, which includes 12,000 pounds of produce and up to 240 families with dogs and/or cats are assisted, according to a news release. Ohio Paws with Purpose typically distributes 2,000 or more pounds of dog and cat food.

The distributions are typically held the fourth Saturday of each month as a drive-thru. Participants can register while in line. All that is needed to register for the free produce distribution is an ID or driver's license.
