The Project to show off new home Monday
The Project of the Quad Cities (TPQC) will host a community open house this Monday, Feb. 12 from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
The Project moved last November from downtown Moline into 4101 John Deere Rd., Moline, which was formerly occupied by John Deere Medical Group.
“It’s been a very busy few months here at The Project,” TPQC CEO Caitlin Wells said in a Friday release. “We’re excited to welcome people into our new space! We want our community to know that we are committed to being a safe place to receive care.”
In announcing the move last August, Wells stated that, “The Project must do what’s necessary to care for our community.”
“This move enables us to better serve people living with HIV while supporting our growth in behavioral health and LGBTQ+ healthcare,” she said.
The new building features five exam rooms, five behavioral health offices, two large group meeting rooms, and space for an adjoining pharmacy. Monday’s open house will feature tours, light snacks and refreshments, and a ribbon cutting with the Greater Quad Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
