Here are the official 2022 NJ high school football playoff brackets
The NJSIAA officially announced the 2022 public high school football playoff brackets on Sunday morning.
The brackets are based on the final United Power Rankings, which were released Saturday night. Below are the seeds and first-round matchups for each section.
The public school playoffs begin this Friday, Oct. 28 with the public section quarterfinals. The non-public playoffs begin on Friday, Nov. 4. The non-public brackets will be seeded on Oct. 30 after all regular-season games are completed.
For the first time, the NJSIAA will crown true state champions in each of the five public school groups this season. Those championship games are scheduled for Dec. 3-4 at Rutgers' SHI Stadium.
