Need prom dresses, suits or accessories? The Sacramento Public Library is hosting giveaway events

(FOX40.COM) — Starting in March, the Sacramento Public Library will be hosting a series of giveaway events intended to help teens create a prom night that they won’t forget any time soon.

On March 7, the first of 16 free prom giveaway events will take place. Last year, the giveaways helped more than 800 teens find the items they needed to complete their outfits.

The items that will be available were donated through the Sacramento Public Library’s Prom Drive program, which ended on Jan. 31.
