The Promenade Bolingbrook Reopens Friday With Reduced Hours

BOLINGBROOK, IL — In a statement on social media, The Promenade Bolingbrook announced that it will be opening its doors on Friday under reduced hours as Illinois moves into Phase 3 of Gov. J.B. Pritzker's Reopen Illinois Plan.

The shopping center had shut down on March 21 in accordance with the state stay-at-home order in order to contain the spread of the coronavirus.


Starting Friday, the Promenade will be open 11 a.m.- 7 p.m. Monday-Saturday and from 12-6 p.m. on Sunday.

"As you can imagine, you'll notice some changes from your last visit," the statement said. "The health and well-being of you - our customers, tenants, guests, and employees - continues to be our primary focus, and as you return, here is what you can expect."

Parking

  • All the parking lots are open and visitors are asked to maintain 6 feet distance between the cars.

  • Look up the shopping center directory map and park near the entrance closest to the shops of your choice.

Personal Health and Safety

  • Look for hand sanitizer stations and use them.

  • Face coverings in public - including while visiting stores - continue to be required by the Illinois health directive.

  • During your visit, the center asks that you follow all social distancing and hygiene guidelines which include:

    • Maintain a 6-foot separation from others.

    • Frequent 20-second hand washing or use of hand sanitizer.

    • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when coughing and sneezing, throw the tissue away and then wash your hands.

Stores, Boutiques and Services

  • Opening schedules will vary by retailer.

  • Before arriving, the center recommends calling or checking a store’s website for opening details, expected hours, and to understand their health and safety procedures. You can also check to see if your favorite store is open by visiting the store directory.

  • Individual stores may limit the number of people inside at one time; contact the store you plan to visit for their guidelines.

Restaurants

  • Some restaurants are currently open for curbside pickup, delivery and may offer exterior seating.

  • Please call ahead to make sure the restaurant you’re interested in is open and to understand their health and safety procedures.

Common Areas - Restrooms

  • Due to social distancing measures, some facilities within the restrooms may not be available for use.

  • The janitorial team adheres to state and federal cleaning protocols and has a frequent, rigid cleaning schedule of all high-touch/high-traffic areas and surfaces, including restrooms.

Cleaning and Sanitizing

  • The Promenade Bolingbrook is following city, county, state, and national health mandates to keep our property clean and safe.

  • The shopping center is partnering with local officials to ensure the well being of anyone who chooses to visit our stores and restaurants; all cleaning protocols and decisions are made in the best interest of our community.

  • Common areas throughout the property are thoroughly cleaned prior to opening each day.

  • It continues to adhere to CDC guidelines and have cleaning protocols that include frequent and thorough wipe downs of all public spaces, including high-traffic/high-touch areas like outdoor tables, outdoor chairs and benches, restrooms, trash cans, drinking fountains and more.
