'Protect Kids, Not Guns!': Protesters Demonstrate Outside NRA Convention in Houston
Protesters picketed outside the National Rifle Association’s (NRA) annual convention in Houston, Texas, on Friday, May 27, following a deadly shooting at an elementary school in the Lone Star State three days prior.
Footage live-streamed by M Coleman Broker of America’s Hunting Network on Friday shows protesters holding anti-NRA and anti-gun violence signs outside the George R. Brown Convention Center, while some chanted “protect kids, not guns!” as they faced mounted police.
