Protesters Against COVID Mandates Gather at NY Capitol and Governor's Mansion
Hundreds of people protested against vaccine mandates and other COVID measures outside the New York State Capitol in Albany on January 5.
According to reports, the “Show Up Strong” rally came as vaccine and mask requirements were extended until February 1.
The Medical Society of the State of New York as a response expressed its support for vaccine uptake, and for the vaccine mandate for healthcare workers. The society also encouraged parents to vaccinate school-age children.
