Protesters gather in Sacramento to demand justice for Vanessa Guillen

Dozens of people gathered at the State Capitol Saturday to demand justice for Vanessa Guillen. She was a U.S. Army soldier stationed at a base in Texas when she disappeared in April. Last week, Army investigators identified her body, which was buried near the Fort Hood base. Investigators say she was killed and dismembered by a fellow soldier who died by suicide two weeks ago. Protesters said they want her death investigated outside of the military. They also said veterans are among those demanding more information. The secretary of the Army has agreed to appoint a panel to investigate how the case has been handled.
