Protesters in Washington March Against Barrett Confirmation

Demonstrators returned to the US Supreme Court Building in Washington on Thursday, October 15, to protest Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation during the third and final day of hearings before the Senate.

According to local reports, protesters began gathering around 8 am arguing against President Donald Trump’s nominee, a religious conservative.

This footage, shared by journalist Lisa Bennatan, shows demonstrators marching, as well as protesters dressed as characters from the dystopian Margaret Atwood story ‘The Handmaid’s Tale.’
