Protests Erupt After Fatal Police Shooting in Elizabeth City, North Carolina

Crowds of protesters gathered in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, after a local sheriff’s deputy shot and killed a black man on April 21.

According to the Pasquotank County Sheriff, Tommy Wooten 42-year-old Andrew Brown Jr. was fatally wounded by a deputy on Wednesday morning while authorities were serving a search warrant.
