Proud dad cheers on every single graduate at Texas high school
A proud dad is making sure every graduate at a high school in Colleyville, Texas gets a proper reaction to receiving their high school diploma.
Sitting in the audience for the graduation ceremony, Mario Ortiz recited every single student's name who appeared on the roster. He also gave an enthusiastic one-handed knee clap for each one as they walked across the stage.
When the announcer completed the list, Ortiz, whose grandson was graduating in the cohort, appeared to be the first parent in his section to give a standing ovation for the students.
Many who are part of graduating classes across the country have faced an unprecedented school experience because of various COVID-19 precautions and limitations over the last two years.
