PSP investigates $7500 theft from natural gas site

OVERTON TOWNSHIP, BRADFORD COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) are investigating a reported theft from a natural gas site in Bradford County.

According to PSP, on Monday, February 26, troopers received a tip about a reported theft from Chesapeake Energy on Morris Road in Overtown Township, Bradford County.

State Police say sometime between Sunday, February 25, and Monday, February 26, four batteries, a battery tender, ground wire from a well pad, and a solar panel were stolen from the site.

Troopers say the victim reported the value of the stolen items around $7500.

According to law enforcement, a white Ford F-250 was seen in the area around the time of the incident.
