PSP investigates power tool theft in Montour County

VALLEY TOWNSHIP, MONTOUR COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) announced they are investigating a reported theft in Montour County.

According to PSP, sometime between Friday, April 5, at 3:00 p.m. and Monday, April 8, at 9:00 a.m., a suspect broke into two construction trailers that belong to Glenn O. Hawbreaker Inc., located on Valley West Road in Valley Township.

Investigators say the tools that were stolen include Milwaukee and STIHL products and have the initials GOH carved on them.

PSP says the tools that were stolen include:

  • Milwaukee Cordless Kit containing impact, hammer drill, and battery, valued at $600

  • M18 Milwaukee Hammer Drill valued at $300

  • STIHL TS500I Chop Saw valued at $1500

  • STIHL TS420 Chop Saw valued at $1200

State police say the value of the stolen power tools equals around $3,600.
