PSP: Woman throws dog out of car before claiming it stolen

POLK TWP., MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A woman is accused of throwing her dog out of her car and then reported it stolen.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, on March 20 around 5:30 p.m., a 67-year-old woman from Kunkletown reported her dog stolen.

Six arrested for alleged retail theft at Walmart

The woman claimed her dog was stolen from her car while she was at Sunny’s Quick Mart in Polk Township, PSP stated. Through further investigation troopers said they learned the woman threw the dog from her car window before arriving at the gas station.

State police are continuing to investigate the incident.
