PUBG Mobile's Air Drop Carnival event to give players free Crates, new soundtrack
The Air Drop Carnival event will be hosted from 4 to 20 August and even features an exclusive soundtrack produced by DJ Alan Walker.
PUBG Mobile has kicked off its summer party-themed Air Drop Carnival event on Friday (4 August), featuring the reward-rich Air Drop Crate, free Crates, a new event-exclusive location, and an accompanying soundtrack produced by renown EDM artist DJ Alan Walker.
From 4 to 20 August, PUBG Mobile players can participate in the Air Drop Carnival event to grab tons of rewards from the main Air Drop Crate, which can be upgraded to Level 5 to get bonus rewards like a permanent emote and a legendary set of the player's choosing.
Free Crates are also available during the event to let players earn more cosmetic items to show off their style on the battlegrounds.
With the event going for a summer theme, players can head to the Cool Island in Erangel, Livik, Nusa, and Sanhok to soak up some sun. A new event-exclusive vehicle, the two-person Duckboat, is also available for duos and squads to link up and traverse the waves in style.
Finally, PUBG Mobile tapped DJ Alan Walker to be the game's Air Drop Carnival Ambassador and produce the event's accompanying soundtrack, titled 'Lands of the Heroes'.
Players can listen to the track while on Cool Island and can complete a mission before 10 August to be able to permanently listen to it in-game.
The Alan Walker-themed set is also making its return to the game after four years for players who previously missed out on getting it.
The Air Drop Carnival festivities will peak on 18 August, Crate Day, where players can open the Crates they have levelled up throughout the event to get permanent rewards.
