Public Invited to Help Chehalis Outfitters Celebrate Second Year of Business

Jun. 6—Chehalis Outfitters is preparing to celebrate its second year of business since purchasing Sunbird Shopping Center in 2021.

The celebration will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 17 in Chehalis.

The event is free to all. Attendees can have free cake and coffee or purchase a hot dog and soda for just 25 cents. Vendors will be on hand with product demonstrations and samples. Participants can sign up to win prizes from the store's vendors.

There will also be a kids fishing pond.

The store encourages customers to bring their canning lids and have their pressure gauges tested as well.

Chehalis Outfitters will also host a seminar on June 24 to teach about hot water canning.

Presented by Two Lumps of Sugar and Chehalis Outfitters, the seminar costs $25. It includes the seminar and a bag with a recipe book and a variety of products with a value of $75. Giveaways and pressure testing of canning lids will also be included.

Two sessions are available. Space is limited.
