Aberdeen City Council

Meets at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the city council chambers at the Municipal Building, 123 S. Lincoln St. Agenda items of note:

  • Consider the first reading of an ordinance amending the definition of kennel.

  • Consider request to declare three Wylie Park camping cabins as surplus property and authorize sale.

  • Consider surplus declaration and demolition of a home at 211 Second Ave. S.E.

  • Consider bid award for traffic signal improvements at the intersection of Brown County Highway 19 and Eighth Avenue Northeast.

Brown County Commission

Meets at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday in the commission chambers of the Brown County Courthouse Annex, 25 Market St. Agenda items of note:

  • Open bids from electricians for campground upgrades at the Brown County fairgrounds and discuss deposit for the Richmond Lake Youth Camp rentals with Brown County Fair Manager Rachel Kippley.

  • Discuss memorandum of understanding with Brown County Fair Foundation members Stu Swenson and Jeff Kippley.

  • Set bid dates for highway materials, discuss right of way request and consider discuss engine braking signs on Brown County 14.
