Castle Development Partners LLC, a Charlottesville-based real estate investment company, purchased the former 200-room motel property, The Governor’s Inn, on about 11.33 acres, at 506 N. Henry St., in the Downtown District of Williamsburg from The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation for $3,050,000. Castle Development plans to raze the property and redevelop it into a new apartment community featuring 162 apartments with a pool and roof deck. The developer designed the new apartment community in a neo-Georgian style that complements Colonial Williamsburg’s Merchants Square and Historic Area, both nearby. Melissa Krause, DVM purchased the 3,975-square-foot, 1.27-acre former Zaxby’s restaurant property at 5295 John Tyler Highway, Williamsburg, from Z Chicken Holdings LLC for $730,000 and will redevelop the property to operate as a veterinary clinic. Drew Haynie and Wick Smith represented the seller.

Wallboard LLC purchased the 19,500-square-foot office/industrial building on 3.2 acres at 1017 Wallboard Drive within Cavalier Industrial Park, Chesapeake, from Seahawk Properties LLC for $1,950,000 as a corporate headquarters for its e-commerce business.
