Publix in Boiling Springs set to open next week, plans to hire 130. Here's what to know.

Publix Super Market in Boiling Springs will hold its grand opening for customers at 7 a.m. July 12.

Publix at Marketplace in Boiling Springs is located at 4400 Highway 9, across from the Circle K convenience store. Publix administrators said the store will hire 130 associates.

An announcement was made last July about Publix coming to Boiling Springs.

The 46,791-square-foot grocery store sits on approximately 17.06 acres.

Jared Glover, manager of Media Relations for Publix, said he can't wait for residents of Boiling Springs to be able to experience what Publix has to offer.

"Our founder George Jenkins firmly believed in treating customers like royalty," Glover said. "I can't wait for our new customers in Boiling Springs to experience why our associates work so hard to make shopping feel like a pleasure instead of just another chore. From our commitment to alleviate hunger to our sustainability initiatives and more, you'll see our associates out in the community volunteering making our community around Boiling Springs even better."
