Publix has an ice cream truck that is touring the Southeast. How to see it in NC

For anyone who’s ever had trouble catching their neighborhood ice cream truck, Publix will be on a roll with one of their own as part of a tour across the Southeast this summer.

The food chain, with stores all over North Carolina, is promoting free samples this summer.

At its scheduled stops, you can expect to play lawn games and enjoy a “vintage-style photo booth for customers to commemorate their experience,” Jared Glover, spokesperson for Publix, told The Charlotte Observer in an email.

He said Publix is taking ice cream to a new level to persuade customers.

“The ice cream truck is a newer way we can surprise and delight customers and the community. You might see it pop up at Publix-sponsored community events here and there or catch it while it’s on its summer tour,” Glover said.

PUBLIX ICE CREAM TRUCK WILL FEATURE NEW FLAVORS

Making their way to your next summer afternoon craving, Publix’s summer ice cream flavors are something you don’t want to miss when the ice cream truck stops near you. Free samples of the flavors range from “Lemon Berry Bliss to Pina Colada, to traditional favorites like strawberry, vanilla, and even lactose-free options,” Glover said.
