Publix Will Be Open on the 4th of July

If you're from the South then you know how good Publix's lemonade, cookies, and pub-subs are. Luckily, you won't have to live without these delicacies this 4th of July!

Whether that cake you were making just didn't turn out quite right or you need to make a sparkler run, Publix has got you covered. If you don't feel like breaking out the grill this year, you can't go wrong with chicken fingers or subs from the Publix deli section.

Is Publix Open on the 4th of July 2022?

Most Publix locations will be open during their normal hours, 7 a.m. until 10 p.m., on the 4th of July. This includes the deli and bakery sections, but the pharmacy will be closed in most locations.

All Publix locations are allowed to make their own hours exceptions so, make sure to double check with your local store. If your Publix will be closed or is limiting their hours on the 4th of July, they should have signage posted to notify customers this week.

If you don't happen to live in Alabama, Virginia, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina or North Carolina and can't shop at Publix, you have other options. Walmart, Target, Aldi, Home Depot, Sam's Club, and Kroger will all be open on Independence Day. And don't forget, there are also a ton of restaurants that will be open for Independence Day.
