Is Publix Open On Easter?
Like poems? Excellent. Consider this an Easter present, from me to you: Roses are red, violets are blue, Publix is not open on Easter this year, that's all I've got for you.
...Just kidding! Well, not about the Publix-not-being-open-on-Easter bit—that's true. Your favorite supermarket will, unfortunately, be closed on Easter Sunday 2022, but that's not the summation of the information I have prepared for you today.
If you're upset about this news, as you planned to wait until the last minute to prepare, please know it's actually not unusual for the mega-chain to be closed for the holiday—it typically closes only for Easter, Christmas, and Thanksgiving to give its employees time at home. That said, the store has plenty of Easter-related goodies for you to proactively pick up ahead of April 17.
While Kroger's Easter sales haven't started just yet, you can get goodies like frosted Easter cookies, large Easter egg cakes, and sliced spiral hams now. If history plans on repeating itself, those items (and more!) will lower in price over the next few weeks as people start to seriously prepare for their Easter meals. There's also always the option of systematically stocking up on Pub Subs from now through April to ensure you have a veritable Easter feast.
Also of note: Publix's competitors—Sam's Club, Costco, and Aldi—will be closed on Easter this year as well, so if you're really in a bind that day, you can head to Kroger and/or most convenience stores for your last-minute Easter needs.
