The local hospitality group consists of 12 family-owned-and-operated restaurants and hospitality businesses in Tennessee and Alabama, including Puckett's Restaurant, Americana Taphouse, Burger Dandy, Deacon's New South and Scout's Pub.

The Puckett’s Hendersonville location will be the first A. Marshall Hospitality concept to open in Sumner County, according to the press release.

"Hendersonville has been a community on our wish list for many years,” AMH CEO and proprietor Andy Marshall said in the announcement.

“It is a town that is rich in family values, has deep roots in the music industry and an appreciation for great food. We are thrilled about this opportunity and look forward to serving ‘The City by the Lake’."

Southern charm

Over the years, Puckett’s has evolved from a little 1950s grocery store in the village of Leiper’s Fork to today’s community kitchen, known for its Southern hospitality, Memphis-style barbecue and live pickin’ performances.

Slated to open in February 2024, the Hendersonville location will be the seventh Puckett’s location in Tennessee – among others in Nashville, Chattanooga, Columbia, Franklin, Murfreesboro and Pigeon Forge – and eighth overall following the opening of its Cullman, Alabama location.

Hendersonville Mayor Jamie Clary expressed his excitement for bringing the well-known Nashville location’s authentic comfort food and family-friendly entertainment home to Hendersonville residents.

“I am thrilled to welcome Puckett’s Restaurant and A. Marshall Hospitality to Hendersonville. As one of Tennessee’s most iconic restaurants and live music venues," said Clary. "Puckett’s fits perfectly in Hendersonville, the home of Taylor Swift, the Oak Ridge Boys and Johnny Cash.

“As a growing city of professionals, many of Hendersonville’s residents know Puckett’s from working in downtown Nashville. Early next year, they can visit the new location closer to home for authentic comfort food and family-friendly entertainment,” Clary said.
