Pueblo-area girls named to CHSAA all-state soccer teams

Led by Pueblo West High School sophomore midfielder Kaitlyn Peterson, seven Pueblo-area girls have been named to the Colorado High School Activities Association all-state teams.

Peterson was named to the Class 4A second team and her teammate, sophomore forward Kameron Goeppinger, was tabbed honorable mention.

Also joining Goeppinger on the honorable mention team was Pueblo South senior defender Madi Reardon and sophomore forward Pierson Weimer from Pueblo County.

In Class 2A, a trio of Rye girls were named honorable mention: seniors Sophie and Sydney Adamson, both forwards, and senior defender Morgan Elarton.
